Village - Villaggio Camping La Porta del Sole

POSITION: In the tourist district of Nicotera rises the Village Camping ‘La Porta del Sole’, at San Ferdinando, on the Tyrrhenian Cost of Calabria, half-way between Tropea and Scilla, in the front of the Islands Eolie and a few Kilometres and a few Km of Capo Vaticano and Gerace, of the Ionica Coast and from Sicily. DESCRIPTION: The structure develops on an area of 40.000 sqm, directly on sea, only a km of the town-centre. Sea, nature and peace are the features of this place, complete dipped into the green between blue gums, tamerice and a wonderful pine forest. The large beach, with its sand of white grains, it continues for about 4 km until the small tourist harbour of Nicotera, where you’ll find the beginning of the striking sea cliff of Capo Vaticano. For those who want to fall in love in the surrounded places, the village organizes EXCURSIONS: Scilla (40 km) and the striking Chianalea, Capo Vaticano and Tropea (30 km), famous for the white beaches, the clear water, the enchanting sea cliffs; and other affascinated places with charm of the Magna Grecia where the time seems to be arrested: Gerace (30 km), Locri (45 km), Stilo (70 Km), to taste the unification of myth and historic reality; Reggio Calabria (60 km), where you have the possibility to admire the famous Bronzi of Riace; the Sila and the Park of the Aspromonte, to discover the flavour of the uncontaminated and the genuine; and further, Taormina (100 Km), in Sicily; and the Islands Eolie (in a day by foil or motor vessel).
